This week we practiced assessing an ariel photograph for Land Cover and Land Use(LULC). The map below shows my humble attempt at this. Time management played a huge role and if I had it to do over I'd dedicate much more time to the land mass and less time to the wetlands and water area. The different colors represent different land use and land cover categories. the red and green dots represent randomly selected sites for measuring overall accuracy. The green dots are accurate to what they were originally assigned while the red dots represent sites that proved to be inaccurate after ground truthing.
